Victor Ivanov

Victor Ivanov is a Russian former competitive weightlifter who competed at the national level before transitioning to coaching. With a Sports Master title in Olympic weightlifting and a USAW Level 2 certification, he brings a pedigree to strength coaching that is extraordinary by any measure.

Victor coaches the snatch and clean & jerk to clients of all levels — from complete beginners discovering the barbell to experienced athletes wanting to add power and explosiveness to their athletic arsenal. His technical instruction is detailed, patient, and backed by decades of first-hand competitive experience.

Based in Dubai Marina, Victor coaches at a CrossFit-affiliated facility in JLT that has the platforms and bumper plates Olympic lifting requires. He is the preferred coach for Dubai's Russian-speaking fitness community and is known across the city's competitive CrossFit scene.
