Tariq Al Mazrouei

Tariq Al Mazrouei is an Emirati open water swimmer and AIDA-certified freediving instructor who has explored the UAE's coastal and marine environment since childhood. Growing up on the Arabian Gulf, the sea is in his DNA — and sharing that connection with others is the passion that drives his coaching.

His freediving sessions cover the foundational breath-holding techniques, equalisation methods, and safety protocols that allow students to safely extend their time underwater. His open water swimming courses prepare pool swimmers for the unique challenges of sea swimming — currents, swell, navigation, and marine awareness.

Tariq teaches at Kite Beach and the JBR shoreline, and conducts freediving sessions at dive sites across the UAE coast. He is one of very few UAE-national freediving instructors and brings authentic local knowledge of UAE waters that no expatriate coach can replicate.
