Miriam Cohen is an Israeli active ageing coach who has been working with Dubai's senior population in Downtown and Jumeirah for a decade. Combining gentle strength training, balance work, and yoga-based mobility, Miriam offers a programme that her clients describe as the most enjoyable and sustainable exercise they have ever maintained.
Her approach is patient, encouraging, and always adapted to the individual's current health status — including coordination with managing physicians for clients with cardiovascular conditions, diabetes, or orthopaedic limitations. She never pushes beyond safe limits, but equally never underestimates what older adults are capable of achieving with appropriate guidance.
Miriam teaches in Hebrew, English, and Russian, reaching Dubai's Israeli, British, and Russian-speaking retiree communities. She runs a Monday morning gentle fitness group in Downtown Dubai that has been running for six years and functions as a beloved social institution as much as a fitness session.
