David Chen

David Chen is a Chinese-American swim coach with an ASCA Level 4 qualification — one of the highest coaching certifications available in the sport. After coaching at collegiate level in the United States, David moved to Dubai and established a coaching practice serving swimmers from youth development level through to adult masters competition.

His technical coaching is built on video analysis, stroke efficiency metrics, and individualised drills designed to eliminate the specific inefficiencies holding each swimmer back. Whether the goal is a 100m sprint time or completing a first triathlon, David's approach is always performance-focused and measurable.

David coaches at a 50m competition pool in the Marina area and at a private villa facility in The Greens. He is highly sought-after by Dubai's Chinese-speaking community and by competitive swimmers across all nationalities who want serious stroke development.
